Dear customer,
No earlier than October 1st, 2022 Tosoh Bioscience LLC will implement new product numbers for the products it currently markets, manufactures, and distributes in the Americas to harmonize with global part numbers. The purpose of this letter is to notify you of the upcoming change and to provide you with additional details.
Currently, Tosoh Bioscience LLC utilizes a five or six-digit part number for the products it markets, manufacturers, and distributes in the Americas. On or after October 1st, 2022, part numbers will be modified to add two leading zeros to the current five-digit part number and one leading zero to the current six-digit part numbers. The harmonized seven-digit product numbers will be used on certificates of analysis, labels, sales order acknowledgements, quotes, etc. This is a change of format only and will not affect any product characteristics. Examples of this change are found below along with a summary of change for our range of products.
Example 1: Change from a five-digit part number to a seven-digit part number.
Five-digit Format: 12345
Seven-digit Format: 0012345
Example 2: Change from a six-digit part number to a seven-digit part number.
Five-digit Format: 123456
Seven-digit Format: 0123456
